WHITE BLOOD CORPUSCLES

Another name of WBC is Leukocyte.

The life span of a WBC is 1 to 4 days.

The nucleus is present at the WBC.

WBCs have a pigment absence.

WBC produces antibodies in the body.

White blood cells are part of the body's Immune system.

WBC help the body fight infection and other diseases.

Lack of WBC leads to a disease called leukopenia.

It is occasionally abnormal, when it is neoplastic or autoimmune in origin. A decrease below the lower limit is called leukopenia.

WBC Produced in the bone marrow.

WBC deficiency occurs in diseases such as thyroid and TB.

WBC growth leads to a disease called Leukocytosis.

Too many white blood cells, it usually means you have infection or inflammation in your body.

WBC increases in BLOOD CANCER. High white blood cell count could indicate certain blood cancers or bone marrow disorders.

There are two types of WBC.  Particulate WBC and non-compoundable WBC

There are three types of granulocytes WBC.  Eosinophils, basophils and neutrophils.

An increase in the number of eosinophils results in allergic disease.

Basophils undergo many increases in chickenpox.

Neutrophils contain 60 to 65 percent of WBC.

There are two types of non-granulocytes WBCs.  Monocyte and Lymphocyte.

The Monocyte is the largest WBC and is helpful in healing wounds.

The Lymphocyte is the smallest WBC.  It produces the ability to fight diseases in the body.

There are two types of Lymphocyte.  T-Lymphocyte and B-Lymphocyte.

T-Lymphocyte produces antibodies.

WBC is produced in the bone marrow.

The WBC is formed by the thymus gland.

The WBC is also called soldier.

they defend your body against infections and disease.

The normal white cell count is usually between 4 × 109/L and 1.1 × 1010/L or 4,000 to 11,000 white blood cells per microliter of blood.

White blood cells make up approximately 1% of the total blood volume in a healthy adult.
